My Portfolio

Hello and Welcome!

This is the first post on my portfolio, and hopefully, it will be the start of something that grows along with my career as a Software Developer.

Why did I decide to create this portfolio?

Good question! One I had to answer for myself before even starting this project.

Since stepping into the world of programming, I quickly realized that this was the path I wanted to follow. And from that moment on, I made it a goal to learn something new every day in this vast and ever-evolving field.

That brings me to the first reason for creating this portfolio—learning something new. As a Salesforce Developer, I don’t work much with frontend technologies, and the environment I program in is quite structured and controlled. Building a website from scratch was a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, expand my technical knowledge, and gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to bring a website to life. (Spoiler: it’s not as overwhelming as it seems—you just need to take it step by step!)

Creating Value

I also believe that having a personal portfolio adds value to me as a professional. The tech industry is packed with talented developers, and standing out requires more than just knowing how to write code.

One of the best ways to create value is to show what you can do. A portfolio isn’t just a website—it’s a showcase of my skills, a place where I can document my work, share insights, and prove my expertise. From building the site itself to publishing technical and informative posts, this platform will serve as a reflection of my journey.

Shared Documentation

As developers, we’re constantly learning and adapting to new technologies. But let’s be honest—there’s so much information coming at us all the time that it’s easy to forget things we’ve learned along the way. If we don’t put knowledge into practice, it eventually fades.

This portfolio is my way of fighting against that. Sure, I could document everything privately, but why keep it to myself? By sharing my learning process, I might not only reinforce my own knowledge but also help someone else who stumbles across my posts.

So, here’s to the start of this journey! 🚀 Let’s build, learn, and grow together.
